Welcome to the Bedford Borough Council Internet Registration Site
IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE YOU PROCEED
Households may use this site to confirm the details of electors resident within the Borough. Where there are ‘no changes’ from the elector details pre-printed on the Household Voter Registration Form circulated during the Annual Canvass of 2010; electors may confirm this using this site. If there are changes to the elector details pre-printed on your Household Voter Registration Form you will need to complete the form and return it in the freepost envelope provided.
Using this site, it is possible to request a postal vote application, to opt out of the Edited Register or to cancel a previous opt-out. If you request a postal vote application this will be sent to you by post. You will then need to complete and return to the Electoral Services Office if you wish to vote by post. If the Household Voter Registration Form already contains the word ‘Postal’ in the relevant column, you already have a postal vote and do not need to request a postal vote application form. If you wish to cancel your existing postal vote you will need to strike the word ‘Postal’ out and return the form in the freepost envelope provided.
If you would like to register via the internet just click here. To use this service you will need the unique reference number (and password) pre-printed on your Household Voter Registration Form. Please ensure you have the form with you before continuing.
This site will be open from 25 August 2010, so as soon as you receive your form you will be able to register. The site will close on 30 November 2010 .
Alternatively, you can use our freephone service to confirm existing elector details. In order to register by telephone you will need to call freephone 0808 161 7610
